The first dress rehearsal for the 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone season is set for Friday, Oct. 18 during the Chris Griffis Memorial Test on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

Twenty-two drivers are scheduled to turn laps on the 14-turn, 2.439-mile road course during the annual fall test for the INDYCAR development series. The test, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. ET, is named in memory of Chris Griffis, the team manager of Schmidt Peterson Motorsports who passed away suddenly in September 2011.

The lineup of participating drivers:

Abel Motorsports: Callum Hedge, Jordan Missig, Myles Rowe, Yuven Sundaramoorthy

Andretti Cape INDY NXT: Jace Denmark, Ricardo Escotto

Andretti Global: Salvador de Alba Jr., Dennis Hauger, Lochie Hughes, James Roe

HMD Motorsports: Nolan Allaer, Bryce Aron, Christian Brooks, Caio Collet, Hailie Deegan, Josh Mason, Josh Pierson, Liam Sceats, Tommy Smith

Miller Vinatieri Motorsports: Jack William Miller

Among the highlights of the test will be the INDY NXT on-track debut of former off-road and NASCAR driver Hailie Deegan, who announced this week a move to INDY NXT with HMD Motorsports for the 2025 season.

Also capturing attention will be Lochie Hughes, the 2024 USF Pro 2000 champion moving up to INDY NXT in 2025 with Andretti Global.

The test also gives teams a chance to evaluate drivers for open seats in 2025.

Live timing will be available at www.indycar.com/leaderboard, and fans can view the test free of charge from the spectator mounds in front of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum.

The 2025 INDY NXT by Firestone season starts Sunday, March 2 on the streets of St. Petersburg, Florida.
